Anthony Foreman was born and raised in Carlsbad. He is the son of Elijah and Alfreda Foreman. He began his first business as a cabinet maker at the age of sixteen. After graduating from Carlsbad High School, he traveled around the country remodeling hotels. He later worked at Mississippi Chemical, which became Intrepid, and then worked at Universal Boiler Works as a technician and welder. Anthony earned his contractor’s license in 2012 and started AR Foreman Construction LLC in 2014. Anthony also owns several other companies in Carlsbad, including Lunar Information Technologies LLC and The Golf Society LLC.
Anthony has been actively involved in civic affairs in the community, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, President and Board Member for the Riverside Country Club, a former board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad, a member of the Spirit of the Oilfield Awards Committee, a presenter at the Mayor’s Energy Summit and various other projects in and around Carlsbad.
Anthony’s desire to serve on the Carlsbad City Council comes from his love for the town that he was raised in and his commitment to the success of the community that he calls home.
