The City of Carlsbad Public Works Department is dedicated to the stewardship of our city’s vital infrastructure and recreational assets. Our team manages the maintenance of 162 miles of city streets, a fleet of 147 vehicles and pieces of rolling stock, and over 1,400 acres of parkland. Our portfolio of facilities includes 40 municipal buildings, two premier golf courses, and professional-grade disc golf facilities.
Beyond routine maintenance, the Public Works Department provides expert renovation services for City facilities and manages the execution of numerous in-house construction projects.
