The Grant Programs Department was established in November 2023 to operate as a centralized grant management and compliance oversight department collaborating with the Finance and other Departments.The Department oversees all City of Carlsbad grant funding awards and applies for grant funding opportunities for City initiatives. The Grant Programs team coordinates and manages the Infrastructure Capital Improvement Process, Lodgers’ Tax Requests for Promotional Funding, and City Project Accounting.
The Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan is the City’s 5-year Capital Project Priorities Updated Annually. The City invites the public to participate during a comment period and throughout the year.
