City of Carlsbad 311 Service Center

The Carlsbad 311 Service Center staff act as liaisons between residents and City departments. We serve as the central point of contact for citizens who need assistance and help connect them with the right City services. We manage the Carlsbad 311 Online Portal to centralize requests and forward newly submitted issues to the appropriate City teams for resolution. Depending on the type of request, the resolution time can vary.

Report an Issue

The City of Carlsbad uses its 311 Service Portal—a report and tracking tool—to communicate issues to City service departments. After an issue is submitted, our team will assign it to the appropriate department and track its progress. For the quickest response, please submit a ticket online through the portal.

Download the app ([Link to Apple App Store] / [Link to Google Play]) for easy submissions while you're out and around the city. Including photos with your report is highly encouraged.

 

Important Notes

  • Please make sure the address provided is the exact location of the issue being reported.
  • Submitting multiple requests for the same issue will not expedite service.
  • The Carlsbad 311 portal is monitored during regular City business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Requests placed over weekends or holidays may not be addressed until the following business day.


 

For Emergencies or Law Enforcement Issues

The 311 portal should NOT be used for emergencies or to report a crime in progress. Any issue requiring an officer's response should be reported directly to the Carlsbad Police Department.
