The Records Division of the Carlsbad Police Department receives and maintains various reports created by members of the Law Enforcement Community. Some of these records are available to the general public due to the requirements of State Law “public information” clause. Those records not available to the public are those involving suspect, medical, or any other confidential information involving ongoing investigations or documents that have been ‘sealed’ by the court.
