Sand
Point Landfill Construction Cell No. 3
The
construction of Cell No. 3 at Sandpoint Landfill is underway to
replace Cell No. 2 that is currently receiving waste. Cell 2 has
reached its maximum capacity and the City will discontinue its use
once Cell 3 is complete. The contractor ahs completed excavation,
grading, and is now installing the liner. The cell is projected
to be ready to receive waste mid October 2004.
