Canyon
Street Enhancements – Phase II
In
2003, the City reconstructed the entire roadway of South Canyon
Street and added landscaping, pedestrian lighting and other enhancements.
Phase II of the project will continue the enhancements north on
Canyon. The enhancements will include pedestrian crosswalks, lighting,
landscaping, and “bump-out” areas. Constructor's Inc. will begin
construction late-September 2004. The work will start with construction
of crosswalks and planter areas at Canyon and Greene Street intersection
and continue north to the intersection of Canyon and Stevens .
