Arraignments
are held at 8:00 a.m. only, Monday through Thursday.
If you wish to appear before the Judge, you must appear

Payments can be made with cash, check or money order.
Requests for payment extensions must be made in person. The
clerks are allowed to give only one extension. Any extensions
thereafter must be approved by the Judge.
Among the most

are those that require a Court appearance and others that
are considered penalty assessments which include set fines.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Fines may be worked out through Community
Service. Credit will be given at $5.15 per hour for fines
only. Any fees assessed must be paid. You must come to the
Court to sign up for work. Information is provided below:

- Report To: Community Service Building - located
in the Carlsbad Cemetary.
- Time: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Winter Hours) &
6:00 p.m. (Summer Hours)
- Need To Bring: Sack Lunch - Plenty of water will
be provided
- Dress: Wear comfortable work clothes - No shorts
or sandals
DWI SCHOOL
If you are assigned to DWI School, the following is
a list of pertinent information and instructions:
- Cost: $150.00 due at time of first class by cash
or money order - NO CHECKS
- Location: 324 S. Canyon - Rear Door
- Time: 6:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.
- Dates: The Court will tell you in which month you
are to attend. You must attend all three days listed in
that month to get credit for the class. You are required
to Pre-Register. For further information contact the
