Jeff Diamond is an attorney at law who primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, Social Security Disability, and workers' compensation law. He has offices in Roswell, Albuquerque, and Odessa, Texas, and has practiced law in Carlsbad since 1976.

Mr. Diamond is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law (1976) and Dickinson College (1972). He worked for a United States Senator from 1967 to 1973, and, in 1970-71, studied international economics and political science in Bologua, Italy.

A former Carlsbad Board of Education member and School Board President (1989-1993), Mr. Diamond served as a Chairman of the Eddy County Democratic Party (1981-1985) and was a founder and past President of Carlsbad Mental Health Association (1985). He is a member of Eddy County Sheriff's Posse, Kiwanis, State Board of Anti-Defamation League, and a founding member of Temple Beth El.

Mr. Diamond serves on the City Council Budget Committee, Police Headquarters Committee, Golf Board, and is Chairman of Ad Hoc Stachybotrous Committee.
