Paul C. Aguilar

I have served on the City Council, representing Ward 1, since March 1998. I have lived in Carlsbad all my life, with the exception of the first two months when I resided in Artesia. I am a 1961 graduate of Carlsbad High School and attended New Mexico State University. In December 1997, after 32 1/2 years of employment, I retired as the Superintendent of Wastewater Department for the City of Carlsbad. My wife, Julia and I have been married for 39 years and we have two sons, Ruben and Richard. Ruben and his wife Lori have two children, Annalise and Jaron.
