The Licensing and Permits Department is responsible for sales of lots, scheduling of grave preparation, services and coordination of monument sales and placement. The department also keeps all cemetery records and handles complaints for the cemeteries belonging to the City of Carlsbad. The department facilitates and coordinates with the Carlsbad Cemetery Board regarding decisions and policies.
